If you are not receiving email communications from GovWell, whether it's email updates or login confirmation links, there are several steps you can take to resolve the issue. This guide will help you identify possible causes and implement solutions to ensure emails from GovWell are successfully delivered to your inbox.

🔴 Common Causes of Missing Emails

  1. Spam Filters: Your email provider may flag messages from GovWell as spam or junk mail. If you mark one of our emails as spam, GovWell will stop sending emails to you.

  2. Blocked Addresses: Your email provider system might have added GovWell's addresses to a blocklist.

  3. Suppressed Emails: Prior delivery issues could suppress emails from GovWell within their own delivery system.

  4. Incorrect Inbox Rules: Custom rules in your email client might route these emails away from your main inbox.

  5. GovWell System Issues: In some rare occasions, our system may be affected by a technical issue that results in the emails taking longer than expected to be delivered.

🟢 How to Resolve Missing Emails

1. Check Spam or Junk Mail Folder

  • Search your email’s spam or junk folder for messages from GovWell.

  • Look for emails sent from [email protected].

2. Allowlist or Whitelist GovWell Email Addresses

  • Add GovWell’s sender email addresses ([email protected]) or the domain '@notifications.govwell.com' to your allowlist/whitelist. This prevents future messages from being flagged.

  • Update any email filter rules to ensure messages from GovWell are routed directly to your inbox.

3. Remove from Blocked or Suppressed Lists

  1. Coordinate with your IT department to monitor incoming messages from GovWell and ensure that [email protected] is not blocked.

  2. Check with GovWell Support if your email address is in our suppressed list in case your provider previously marked our emails as spam.

4. Test Email Delivery

  • After completing the above steps, attempt to log in/sign up again and check if you receive an email from [email protected]. If you receive the email, it means your provider now allows emails from GovWell.
