If a contractor's name or registration number does not appear in the contractor field of your application, it may indicate one of two things:
The contractor is not registered in the system – they will need to submit a contractor registration application with GovWell to be included in the search results.
The contractor is not registered for the type of license you're searching for – for example, if you're trying to add a plumbing contractor to a field that only accepts electrical licenses, no results will appear. In this case, the contractor will need to apply for the electrical license as well.
