GovWell on Mobile Devices

Learn some of the key things to be aware of while using GovWell on your phone or tablet

GovWell is developed to work just as seamlessly on mobile devices as it is on your desktop. There are a few differences between using GovWell in a mobile setting compared to your computer so let's have a look at what you can expect to be slightly different in your mobile session.


1) Contacting Support

The Support chat widget stays at the bottom right corner of your page, just like on desktop. On mobile, however, the chat box will fill the entire screen. To minimize the widget and resume your tasks, simply press the 'X' button at the top right of the screen.

2) The Sidebar Menu

One of the first things you may notice when logging into GovWell on a mobile device is that the sidebar menu with your Records and Tasks appears to be hidden.

Don’t worry - it’s not gone! You can easily reveal the sidebar by tapping the menu icon in the top right corner of your screen. To close the menu, simply tap the 'x' button at the top right corner again.

3) Navigating Records

With the amount of information each record holds, navigating on a mobile device might seem daunting, but it’s actually easy!

The information is displayed in the same way as the desktop view, so you'll likely recognize the layout right away. Since the mobile view is narrower, some tabs and elements may be hidden at first—but you can easily reveal them by scrolling sideways.
