In some cases you will come across some applications that have a wrong address in the 'Property' tab. Updating the application with the correct address is quite easy so let's check how it's done!

For GIS addresses:

If the address you want to edit is a GIS entry, it is important to keep in mind that there are two entries in the application: both the Property tab and in the Form Submittal are synced and editing one will update the other

In order to ensure both addresses are properly updated, follow the steps in the order below:

  1. Go go to the Form Submittal section of your 'Details' tab and click 'Update submittal'

  2. Enter the address and press 'Save changes' to confirm the change

  3. That's it! The new address should be properly reflected in both the Form Submittal and the Property tab

πŸ’‘ In some cases, the address in the Property tab will not update. Here's an alternative approach:

  1. Head over to the Property tab. Find the 'Remove address/parcel' button and click on it to remove the address from the Property tab

  2. Head back to the 'Details' tab and scroll down to the form submittal block. You will notice that the 'Address' field in the form is gone now! That is because the address was removed from the application form.

We can restore any missing form fields by clicking 'Sync missing fields' - the address will appear under the 'Additional Fields' block. Click 'Update submittal' to edit the form

  3. In the newly added Address field, add the new address and click 'Save changes' to confirm it

  4. And that's it - The correct address is now displayed in the submitted form and the 'Property' tab!

To enter a Non-GIS address:

  1. Go go to the Form Submittal section of your 'Details' tab and click 'Update submittal'

  2. If available, click the 'Address not found? Enter the new address manually' option underneath the address field to enable manual address entry. Enter the new address and click 'Save changes' to confirm the address change

  3. And that's it! The address has been updated
