There may be instances when a reviewer requests clarification or updates to your application after the initial review. In such cases, you will receive an email notification. When you visit your application overview, you will see a call to action on the right side of your screen, along with the reviewer's comments and any required actions.

You’ll be presented with two options to respond:

1. Update Submittal

Use this option to update the information originally submitted in your form—such as addresses, names, contractors, and more.

  • Click Update Submittal to reopen the form.

  • Make any necessary changes to the form

  • Click Save Changes to confirm your updates.

2. Upload Files

If the reviewer has requested any specific documents, you can upload them directly through your application.

  • Click Upload Files.

  • Select the requested documents from your device and upload them.

Final Step: Mark as Addressed

Once you've completed all updates and/or uploads, click Mark Addressed. This will notify the reviewer that your changes are complete and the application is ready for re-review.

I don't know what the reviewers needs/I don't understand their request! What should I do?

If you're unsure about the changes the reviewer is requesting and need further clarification, we recommend reaching out directly to the jurisdiction using the contact information available at the bottom of the jurisdiction's Portal.

Feel free to contact our support team if you're unsure of what you need as well! We'll do our best to guide you in the best way, or direct you to the appropriate contact.

You can always access your jurisdiction's portal from the 'Places' menu in the sidebar.
