Paying your fees using GovWell is easy!
Each time your jurisdiction issues an invoice, you can initiate a payment by clicking the orange 'Pay Button' next to the relevant invoice.
A new window will pop up, displaying a breakdown of the fees and a form to complete your payment. In this window, you will have two payment options to choose from: Credit/Debit Card or Bank Transfer (via ACH).
💳 Credit/Debit Card
You can pay using a card by selecting the 'Credit/Debit Card' option and entering the details requested by the payment form. After submitting your details, the payment should be immediately processed and reflected on your application!
🏦 Bank Transfer
Another option available to you is using your Bank Account (via ACH) to pay your fees! Paying via bank account is quite simple. After you select the Bank Account option, you will be prompted to enter the following details:
Name
Account Number
Bank Code
Account type (Personal Checking, Personal Savings, Business Checking, Business Savings)

1. Does GovWell charge applicants any processing fees for payments?
There is a processing fee associated with the payment method you select on the checkout page. Please see the breakdown below:

2. Is it safe to pay my fees using GovWell?
By default, GovWell processes payments through Finix, a PCI DSS Level 1 DSS compliant, federally regulated payment processor. If you would like to read more about Finix’s security and compliance practices, please visit their PCI DSS Compliance page. GovWell does not store sensitive financial information on our servers.
3. Are there any rules or limitations I need to consider when paying?
As long as your payment method of choice meets the criteria listed on Finix's Supported Payment Methods page, your payment should be processed as expected.
Restrictions may vary between jurisdictions, and some cities have different processes for fees. Be sure to check with your local city staff for any specific payment limits.
