Why can't I see or request Inspections in my application?

If you're going through your application and wondering when it's time to request inspections, you’re not alone! Sometimes, you might notice that the Inspections tab isn’t showing up on your application page - and that’s totally normal.

The Inspections tab only appears once your application reaches the Inspections step in the workflow. Additionally, the visibility of various inspection groups within this stage depends on the completion of earlier assigned groups. For applications with multiple inspection groups, later groups may only become visible after all tasks of the previous groups are fully completed.

So if you don’t see it yet, no need to worry! It just means the jurisdiction staff is still working through the earlier steps of your application. Once everything’s ready, the tab will show up and you’ll be able to request inspections! In the meantime, ensure that all your tasks in the current application stage are completed, as this will help move the process along.
