If you're in a scenario where you were previously working on a project and the jurisdiction you're working with moved to GovWell, or you are simply being asked to join an existing project in GovWell, this article is intended to help you quickly have access to them.

😦 My Jurisdiction started using GovWell, but I can't find my projects!

In the event of your jurisdiction moving to GovWell, there's a fair chance that your projects in the previous system were moved to GovWell as well. But it so happens that when you create your account and log in for the first time, you have zero records in your 'Records' view!

Here's what you can do:

1. Make sure your new account email fully matches the account email in the previous system.

When importing data, GovWell imports all the personal information just as it is in the previous system. Any email matches will be appropriately linked with existing or new GovWell accounts under the same address.

2. Contact the original applicant to check if they have access to it and if they can share it with you

If you were a collaborator or additional contact (e.g. contractor) in the project but not the main applicant, it could be possible that the data that was provided to GovWell does not include fully detailed contact information for certain roles such as collaborators. If possible, try to reach the applicant to request access to the application. Applicants can share collaborator access to applications using the 'Share' button in the applicant page - for more information please check this Help Center article!

3. Reach out to the jurisdiction or GovWell support for assistance in retrieving the missing applications

If the above solutions don't work in your case, please feel free to reach out to your jurisdiction's key contacts or don't hesitate to reach out to GovWell support for further assistance! We'll be happy to help you!
